The Future of Braves Baseball

One thing I've loved most about shooting minor league baseball the past few years is the fact that I get to photograph players before they become the next big thing. My time shooting with the Rome Braves has given me opportunities to work with a lot of players right after getting drafted.

During the 2015 season, two players I focused on were top prospects Ozzie Albies and Braxton Davidson. I had the opportunity to shoot portraits of these two at the end of the season and they were great to work with.

Here's some of my best images throughout the season.

Ozhaino "Ozzie" Albies is an international signee from Curacio who rocketed up the top prospect chart in 2015 with his incredible defensive skills. Following the trade of Jose Peraza, Ozzie was named the #1 prospect in the organization.

Braxton Davidson was the first round selection made by the Braves in 2014 (#32 overall), coming out of Asheville, North Carolina. He showcases a lot of power and would be a great outfield addition to a future Braves roster.  Currently Braxton is ranked as the #9 prospect in the organization.
